Krys Major-Lovan, DVM

Dr. Krys Major-Lovan graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She went into emergency medicine for two years and then bought a solo practice in College Station, Texas, down the street from Texas A&M. She had the practice (Lovan Care Animal Hospital) for ten years and then obeyed her call to the mountains. She and her husband, Gary, moved to southwest Washington, where she worked in a small animal practice for ten years.\

​​​​​​​Wanting to be closer to family, they moved to Colorado, where she worked temporary jobs in multiple practices for two years, and then found Evergreen Animal Hospital, which felt like home. Krys enjoys most aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, but her true love is anything feline. Her family includes two adult sons (Garrett and Brandon), one granddaughter (Evie), two kitties (Squirt and Randy), and she also has a horse (Sherman) who has his own veterinarian.
