Amy Hartmann, DVM  (pictured with her cat, Sloopy)

Amy graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, continued on in an internship, and then joined private practice in small animal medicine.  Most of her practice years were spent in Santa Fe, NM, where she and her husband settled after their marriage.  In 2008, Amy and her husband along with their two young sons, Noah and Luke, moved to Colorado for his career and to be closer to family.  Looking for the right place to settle and raise the kids, they became residents of Evergreen, and Amy joined Evergreen Animal Hospital in 2010. She especially enjoys the areas of geriatric feline medicine, feline and canine surgery, and emergency cases.  Days off are spent with her boys, enjoying all the mountains have to offer-especially telemark skiing, fishing, and gardening.  The other super important member of her family is their calico cat, Sloopy, who eats up all the attention as the only pet in the household!
