Luke -- Head Technician

Luke is a native to Colorado and has always had a passion for working with animals. He has worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years in both emergency practices and general practices. Luke and his wife have 2 daughters and he enjoys spending time with them and their yorkie Griffin when he is not working. Luke also enjoys reading, going camping, spending time outdoors and visiting new places.

Elizabeth -- Certified Veterinary Technician / ER shift

Liz moved to Colorado from Boston, Massachusetts in 2003. She graduated with an Associates Degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2005 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Liz did her internship at Evergreen Animal Hospital in 2005 and returned to our staff in July of 2006. Liz lives in Evergreen with her three dogs, a Golden Retriever named Tallie, a Shetland Sheepdog named Tobey, and a Chihuahua named T-Bone, as well as her two cats, Frankie and Phoenix. She is currently working part-time and attending the University of Colorado at Denver to get her Business Degree.
McKella -- Certified Veterinary Technician

McKella is a Colorado Native. She received her Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from the Bel-Rea Institute in June 2008. She also completed her National Board exam, making her a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has 3 dogs; a Red Heeler mix (Lucy), a Labrador mix (Enzo), a Chow mix (Casey), and a cat (Guynan). In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, camping, watching movies, and four-wheeling with her family and friends. McKella got married on March 5th, 2010 to Jon and they are currently looking for a home in the mountain area.
GiAnna-- Certified Veterinarian Technician

GiAnna is a Colorado native who graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and received her certification in June of 2009 to become a Cerified Veterinary Technician. She joined the staff of Evergreen Animal Hospital in August 2009. GiAnna currently lives in Westminster with her twin sister, father, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, and a parakeet.
Stephanie -- Certified Veterinary Technician / ER Shift

Stephanie James graduated from the Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 1994 and has always enjoyed emergency medicine the best. She is currently one of the "overnight" technicians and wouldn't take any other shift. She has worked in various positions in the veterinary field for twenty three years. Steph is a working Mom of both two an four-legged kids and loves living in Colorado as she has all her life.

Erin -- Certified Veterinary Technician - ER / Day shift

Erin was raised in a military family and moved around in her younger years until her family landed in Colorado in the mid 90's. She started a petsitting business when she was 15 years old where her passion for animals in the medical field was born through watching many special needs pets. She graduated with an Associates Degree from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in the Summer of 2011 and is now a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her passion for emergency practice was formed during her internship at an emergency and specialty center where she worked the overnight emergency shifts. Erin enjoys spending her time with friends and family, especially her cat Gracie and blind labrador Emmy.

Erin Prahl is a native of Colorado and grew up in Ft. Collins. She has been in Denver for the past 10 years. Erin has been married to her husband Hans for 4 years. They have two beagles, Bull and Dozer, one Lab named Gatsby, and two cats, Sancho and Fletch. In her off time, Erin enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and this year is learning to ski. Erin graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute in May of 2011 with her Veterinary Technology degree. She became certified in November and is very excited to begin her career in the Veterinary industry.
